This is a post graduate course which can only be taken if a student has completed the B.Sc. Nursing course. Getting enrollment in this course enhance the education of nurses and bring better opportunity to get chance in major hospitals of one’s country or even abroad. A Person who is willing to be academics and do some research works M.Sc. Nursing is a good option.

Studying M.Sc. Nursing in Sri Ramakrishna College of Nursing, nurses will go through educational visit too where they can explore more things about Medical Surgical Nursing (Cardio Vascular & Thoracic Nursing, Critical Care Nursing, Oncology Nursing, Neurosciences Nursing, Nephro – Urology Nursing, Orthopedic Nursing, Gastro Enterology Nursing), Obstetric & Gynecological Nursing, Paediatric (Child Health) Nursing, Psychiatric (Mental Health) Nursing, Community Health Nursing etc.

Eligibility

  • Candidate must have passed B.Sc. Nursing Basic or Post Basic in Nursing degree or Post Certificate B.Sc.
  • Nursing under the management of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health and Science, Karnataka or any other University excepted as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health and Science, Karnataka.
  • Work experience counts too: Candidate who has the minimum experience of working in any health firm for one year after their B.Sc. Nursing course is only accepted.
  • One should be a registered nurse. Nurse should be registered in State Nursing Council as registered nurse and registered Midwife/ psychiatric Nurse.
  • Eligibility is also considered on the points obtained by applicant in the University examination from 1st year to the final year in relevant subject they have passed before.
